Born and raised in the Kansas City, KS, Amari was introduced to the world of arts and music at the young age of seven years old and has loved it ever since.

Her first show was Carmen by George Bizet at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City (2010), she then went on to star in their children's choruses that include, but are not limited to, Turdandot  (2011), The Giver: World Premiere (2012), La Boheme (2014), Dead Man Walking (2018) until her junior year of high school.

In 2014, Amari applied for and won the Vincent Legacy Award hosted by Starlight Theatre in Kansas City. This helped to propel her into the world of musical theatre that she hadn't really known up until this point. Her professional musical theatre debut was Hairspray (2018) under the direction Jerry jay Cranford and she has been in love with musicals ever since.

Currently, she is enrolled and virtually attending Kansas City Kansas Community College and plans to attend University of Missouri-Kansas City to continue her education.
